Overview

The shallow wreck of the transport cargo ship MV Ledra, that sank on 11th November 1967 after running aground on the Alphee Shoal off Kalmuani. The wreck is shallow, at a maximum depth of 13m, and is badly broken up. The wreck has suffered from illegal salvage and several sections/parts are missing.

The MV Ledra was a diesel powered single-screw ship, built in 1940 by Doxford W & Sons in Sunderland.
