Overview

Remains of a small wreck, upright, generally intact, believed to be that of the 30.5m long steam ship Musgrave that sank sometime in 1885. It is situated a couple of kilometers off the Negombo shore hence the visibility is not very good. However the marine life can be very interesting.

This is a great macro life observation site with Pixy Hawkerfish, Haarlequin Shrimpn and Nudi Branchs. In addition, Moray Eels, Lion Fish, Big Eye Trevally, Yellow Back Fusiliers, Yellow Fin Barracuda, Striped-Eel Catfish, Porcupine Fish (larage), various species of puffer including Jewelled Spotted Puffere. Some holds are inhabited by Glass Fish and Sweepers.
